SISU PLAYS YAMAHA
First installment in the new series SISU CITY will happen on Saturday January 30 on Oslo Central Station.
SISU CITY is a project that tries to bring the contemporary concert experience to the common man and give the daily routine a welcome break with something unique and perhaps unexpected.
A tour to Nepal and Sri Lanka for Rikskonsertene (Concerts Norway) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is the trigger for the first concert in the series. The audience will be able to donate money to music instruments for the music school of Kathmandu, Nepal, a school that has been built with support from Rikskonsertene and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
SISU is thrilled to announce that we have signed a sponsorship deal with Yamaha Norge. We look forward to this collaboration with great anticipation, and we`re eager to play the instruments from this legendary manufacturer.
SISU has recieved support for music ensembles from the Art council of Norway since this support was established. SISU is happy to announce that we have recieved support for 2 more years, 2010-2011.
