SISU CITY 30. JANUARY OSLO S
Jan 26 2010

First installment in the new series SISU CITY will happen on Saturday January 30 on Oslo Central Station.

SISU CITY is a project that tries to bring the contemporary concert experience to the common man and give the daily routine a welcome break with something unique and perhaps unexpected.

A tour to Nepal and Sri Lanka for Rikskonsertene (Concerts Norway) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is the trigger for the first concert in the series. The audience will be able to donate money to music instruments for the music school of Kathmandu, Nepal, a school that has been built with support from Rikskonsertene and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Experience the enchanting world of Runartromma, June 19th and 20th.
Jun 16 2010

Do not miss the two chances this weekend to experience the enchanting world of Runartromma - medieval storytelling in the form of beautiful, beautiful music.

OSLO MIDDELALDERFESTIVAL

----

Photos from the concert at the Oslo Opera, SISU "warming up" for GÅTE
Aug 24 2010

On friday August 20th 2010, SISU did the "warm-up" thing before famous Norwegian rock group GÅTE entered the stage at the roof of the Oslo Opera, as part of the "Summer at the Opera" series of outdoor concerts at the iconic white roof.

GÅTE is known for using folk music as basis for their rock tunes. When SISU, together with folk musician and singer Øyonn Groven Myhren, started off with an edited version of RUNARTROMMA, a work by Øyonn and SISU based on an old folk ballad, they really set an intriguing medieval mood for GÅTE to enter into.
