THE METROPOLIS EXPERIENCE unites film and music in a new way, incorporating SISU, two DJ´s, and the film Metropolis by Fritz Lang.

The Metropolis Experience combines the expressionistic silent movie Metropolis (1926) by Fritz Lang and live music performed by the percussion ensemble SISU together with DJ Barabass and DJ Theory. The musicians strengthen the film's impressive futuristic vision. The music breathes new life into the film and transforms it into an audiovisual experience - a Metropolis Experience.

One of the main goals of this project is to unite film and music in a new way and to involve contemporary musicians in the performance. When the musicians perform live during the screening, the performances differ every time. Each character and each different scenes is given a special musical theme, and the percussion and sound effects underline and strengthen the drama within the film.
