Transposition is the name of a project witch tries to stimulate the cooperation between some of the leading Vietnamese music institutions and selected Norwegian counterparts.
Norwegian music information (MIC) with Geir Jonsson is running the Transposition project together with different partners, SISU is one of the partner. "By establishing a dialogue between the artistic expertise of the two communities, we hope to be able to establish a mutual understanding that will enrich and broaden our understanding of the function of music in the 21st century.
Sisu have made several trips to Vietnam since 2008 for Transposition.In 2010 percussion teachers and students from HCMC visit Oslo Norway for two weeks and participate during concerts with SISU and the norwegian academy of music.
In 2012 SISU will go back and continue the collaboration with the percussion environment in Vietnam.
